Facebook Month (and then some)

I spent a week away from posting to spend time updating my Facebook page, inviting Friends, creating groups etc. I have come to realize there is only so much time for technology whether it be social networking, blogging, or just surfing the web.

I am always on the lookout for faster, more efficient ways of staying on top of things. I pride myself in being able to find information quickly and I feel frustrated when I cannot.

I am constantly upgrading my cell phone too and I am ashamed to say it but I have been texting a little bit lately. I swore I would never text...seems like a waste of time. Next thing you know, I will be hooked up with twitter.

We have come along way from when a business school teacher back in 1990 said this world wide web thing would never catch on in the states. I guess he was wrong about that. The best thing is, I don't need to text him to tell him he was wrong...I only need to look in the mirror and say that, for he is me.

I suppose I still have a lot to learn about technology. My computer science degree does not do a lot for me anymore...technology is light years ahead of when I went to college. My kids will know more about this stuff than I ever will. That does not mean I am not going to try and keep up...but I guess it is time to get rid of the 8 track player and my Coleco Pong game huh? Maybe I can sell them on Ebay?

God bless you today,

Larry
