I am looking forward to playing some golf tomorrow with the men from church. I am not that good but I enjoy it. This video really speaks to us being considerate of our own actions.
Too many times we want to put the blame on someone else...its their fault we say. When clearly, we are the one at fault.
It has been said that if everyone was to be concerned with their own actions instead of pointing out the flaws of others, the world would be a much better place.
Luke 6:41-42 says "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,' when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.
If we really cared about someone else, we would be interested in helping people, not just in judging them or blaming them. Each day we are looking around for that speck in someone else's eye...maybe we should focus on the plank in our own...Fore!
God bless you today,
Larry
